Those with despicably low standards believe that nothings are significant. This makes their life seem more special. It is the practice of the lowly to speak about how extraordinary their nothing experiences are. The mediocre do the same at their own level. Of course they rarely are aware of just what they are or the true quality of their lowliness and the lowly actions of those around them. One small virtuous act is to have acted out a divine order. One small enlightening realization is to arrive at one's (believed) destiny. Low standards cause one to imagine that greatness is just as far away as the remote control. These people truly do not care much at all and thus their view of existence serves them to feel wonder in that which is not much to speak about because, to put it simply, they are lazy.
